Questions about Archetypes

LifeWeaving the Archetypes

Questions from a LifeWeaving Student:  "I was dowsing this morning for information on a dream I had last night and a number of archetypes came up in the following order:  Shadow/Golden Shadow/Liberator/Messiah/Seeker/Teacher"

"After reading your chapter on archetypes, I'm not 100% clear on how to interpret a "Golden Shadow" and also does this then relate to the next archetype that comes up?"
It could relate to the next archetype that comes up or the whole string of them that you dowsed. (I ask as a yes-no question if golden shadow goes with all of them or not. Usually it does as my pendulum will come back to the chart for more answers that are not related to the golden shadow).

"For example...Golden Shadow seems to me to be a positive thing and then the next thing that came up is Liberator.  Does this mean (as per your book) that the two are linked?"
Yes, linked and yes, good characteristics.

"Does it mean that the my shadow aspect from the dream is suppressing an urge to liberate myself/others?"
Not really suppressing - golden shadow is all the good characteristics to an extreme - so the dream showed an intense need to liberate others. If it had come up dark shadow liberator, then you would desire to set them free in order to rule them.

OR

"Is it read more negatively that as the liberator is linked to a shadow aspect, it's about setting others free and imposing one's own tyranny?"
No
When you test archetypes, remember you are potentially testing many lifetimes so each one that comes up might be a need for 'more of' or 'less of' that characteristic at the same time. Thoroughly confused now?  If you need to know, just ask as a yes-no question. Otherwise, just add the words to the holding basket for clearing and let the details work themselves out.
